As the subject line reads, hi. My name is Brandon, I tend to go by Blood Deuce or just Deuce, but I have no problems with people using my actual name. I don't remember what age I was the first time I saw Tron, but I absolutely loved the idea of it, the amazing visuals, the world within the machine. It's been a constant in the back of my mind ever since, and like most people, it sprung back to the forefront of my thoughts when Legacy premiered. I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of Legacy, I feel there are several concepts that could have been better executed if they'd taken a bit more time to review the script, but I certainly won't diss the visual or auditory direction that the movie took. It's absolute art for the eyes and the ears. Ever since Legacy came out, I've been actively pining for more Tron in my life. I've re-watched Uprising more times than I should probably admit, and picked up Evolution shortly before it left the Steam marketplace (lucky break, there). It took me a while, but I even managed to borrow some of the comics from friends. I originally signed up for this board shortly after starting to replay Evolution, after the realization of it being removed from the Steam marketplace hit me. That replay coincided with a full re-watch of Legacy and Uprising, basically at a point where I was fully refreshing myself on all the new age lore. Being hit with Evolution's death as a purchasable product and Uprising's persistent lack of continuation, I guess I just... feel a bit desperate to reach out to other fans of the franchise.
Outside of my interest in Tron, I'm a 23 year old male (standard he/him) that lives on and helps run a family-owned ranch. My primary hobbies are D&D, miniature painting, blacksmithing, and of course, video games. I have somewhat of a persistent interest in Minecraft (though admittedly not quite as persistent as my interest in the Tron franchise), and I have a bad habit of over-immersing myself in lore when I get interested in it. I used to study medicine but eventually stopped as I realized I didn't have the stomach to see injured and sick people day after day, but I still want to help others where I can. I like to write, but I have no published works as of yet. I'm a volunteer editor for other writers I'm friends with, though again, no publications as of yet.
Sorry for the kind of stream of consciousness introduction here, I just wasn't sure how to start this. If anyone has any further questions about me that aren't terribly invasive, feel free to reply below. I do hope we'll all be friends soon.
